Welcome to our nursery class - a warm, busy, child-centred space where curiosity leads the way. Throughout the year, our children learn through hands-on, exploratory play that encourages them to think, experiment, and discover at their own pace. Guided by the Northern Ireland Preschool Curriculum, we focus on developing early skills in personal, social and emotional development, communication, the world around us, physical development, and early maths and literacy, all in ways that feel natural and enjoyable.

Our topics - such as All About Me, The Arctic, The Farm, and Under the Sea - give children opportunities to explore real-world ideas through sensory experiences, outdoor learning, imaginative role-play, stories, and creative activities. Each theme helps children build language, expand their understanding of the world, and develop their problem-solving skills.

Most importantly, our aim is to ensure that every child feels happy, secure, and valued. We work hard to create an environment where children can grow in confidence, make new friends, learn to work with others, and develop independence in a supportive, caring atmosphere.
